t's the time of year where we're being bombarded with adverts to buy the latest slimming supplement, drink, diet and workout plan; and it sucks. For those of us learning to love our bodies for what they are (beautiful, in case you're not sure), being constantly told that we need to lose weight now that Christmas is over is just horrible. So for the past week and a bit I've been putting together a list of body positive and self-care Instagram's that you need to be following!
One of my new years resolutions for this year is to raise some money for charities that I have had a personal relationship with. And one of those charities is MIND. This is the year of me trying new things and pushing myself out of my comfort zone; and what better way to start than by doing something I've never done before! Cycling!
Which brings me to this post. For as long as I can remember, I have made New Years resolutions each year; and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been about how my body looks and my weight. It's always along the lines of: I will lose weight, I will drop a dress size, I will change my body, I will go to the gym 6 times a week, I will stop eating certain foods etc. etc. etc. And this year I REFUSE to make a resolution about my body.
Since I tried BoomBod for a week about 2 months ago, I've been getting lots of requests for more posts like that! So over the past 2 weeks I've been trying the oh so famous Bootea! I wanted to see if all of the claims it makes are true or if it's going to be a similar story to my experience with BoomBod. Read on to see what happened after two weeks of Bootea!
