Thursday was my birthday!! Which means I ate cake, got pampered and did a bit of reflecting on what I want for the next year of my life. I guess it's a little like new years resolutions but without the guilt if you break them. Reflecting on what I want for myself in the next months is something I've never really done before, but the time just feels right.
Which brings me to this post. For as long as I can remember, I have made New Years resolutions each year; and EVERY SINGLE ONE has been about how my body looks and my weight. It's always along the lines of: I will lose weight, I will drop a dress size, I will change my body, I will go to the gym 6 times a week, I will stop eating certain foods etc. etc. etc. And this year I REFUSE to make a resolution about my body.
Merry Christmas everyone! The kids are soon breaking up for the Christmas holidays which means not only planning what you've bought/buying them, but coming up with fun ways to get the kids in the Christmas spirit! That's why I've come up with 6 easy games you can do with the kids with your 'Elf on the Shelf'!
Hello my lovelies! I can't believe we're in November already! This year has flown by so fast and my blog has grown so much in such a short space of time.
So, I've been blogging for a few months now, and something I get asked quite often when people I know find out I have a blog is why did I start blogging? What pushed me into pursuing blogging for myself?
Hello my lovelies! I am so grateful and excited to be awarded the Versatile Blogger Award by another incredible blogger! Thank you so much to everyone that has supported me and my blogging journey, and thank you so much Pamela (@TheSparkleMomma) for nominating me! The love, support and empowerment blogger to blogger is so amazing and being welcomed into this community has made me so unbelievably happy and grateful. Here's my nominees for the award!
We all love having silky hair and smooth skin. And for me that's been a bit of a journey; over there last year I've managed to put together my own extremely simple routine that does everything I want it to whilst still being pretty cheap. So this week I'll be talking you through my skin and hair care routines!
Autumn is finally upon us! Which means colder weather, warm hearty food and Halloween. Autumn and Winter are quite possibly my favourite times of year. Actually, they definitely are. I love everything about the colder seasons; I prefer cold weather as some of you may already know (see my post about being pale in summer for reasons why!), the food, Christmas and of course the clothes.
Which brings me to this post, my Autumn Staples!
